Proceeds from her cooking classes, private dinners, and catered events go to the children of Manna Backpack, her non-profit organization.
Their goal is to send 100 000 backpacks for the children of Ethiopia and refugee children of Eritrea. These bags will be filled with notebooks, pencils, and $50 stipends to support them.
Join our chef, Saba Tewolde, and learn how to cook Ethiopian food and prepare Ethiopian coffee.
Quality Time Dinner offers several services: catering, cooking classes, and charity talk dinners. All of which feature Ethiopian food. Although our specialty is Ethiopian cuisine, we also offer different packages that will surely fit your needs.
Our chef, Saba, is an Ethiopian refugee and a bridge to her nation's culture. She believes in Five Love Languages: Words of Affirmation, Quality Time, Receiving Gifts, Physical Touch, and Acts of Service . She envisioned Ethiopian Quality Time Dinner for one purpose - to share her country's rich culture and to raise awareness for the countless children who suffer from starvation and poverty.
Savor the unique flavors and taste of Ethiopian cuisine while having the privilege of listening to Saba's stories of loss, fear, and hope. Through these dinners, she hopes to inspire people to take action and fulfill their moral obligation to serve those in most need of help.
